Prescription pill theft: Police issue warning to public after tablets stolen
Police and heath officials are warning the public not to take prescription drugs bought from illegal sources following a recent theft.
The drugs - which are oval in shape and are marked with 'KAP' on one side and 'AKE' on the reverse - may now be in circulation, following a robbery.
The public are urged to be "vigilant and to ensure that they do not put their health at risk by purchasing medication from an illicit source".
The medicines involved are potent and subject to abuse, police said.
Anyone with information about the stolen pills can contact police on 101.
