PSNI appeal after pedestrian 'seriously injured' after being knocked down in Co Tyrone

Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was "seriously injured" after being knocked down in Co Tyrone.

It happened shortly before 9.48pm on Sunday August 16 on the Farlough Road, Coalisland.

Inspector Amanda Kenny said: “We are investigating following an RTC in which a pedestrian was knocked down in the vicinity of the junction of Edendork Road and Farlough Road.

"The pedestrian is understood to have been seriously injured. We would like to speak to anyone who saw the pedestrian in the vicinity of Farlough Road anytime between 9pm and 10pm on Sunday, August 16.
