PSNI appeal for Syrian man missing in east Belfast

A Syrian man has gone missing in east Belfast.

Police said they were becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of 31-year-old Mohammed Esfahani.

Mohammed, who is originally from the Middle East, was last seen in Montrose Street, off the Newtownards Road in east Belfast, on Thursday, April 24.

He is described as being approximately 5ft 6ins tall, with jet black balding hair and a well groomed beard.

When last seen he was wearing a green jacket, light grey hooded top, dark jeans and a dark coloured baseball cap.

A PSNI spokesman said: "Police would appeal to Mohammed or anyone who knows of his whereabouts to contact them at Strandtown police station on the non-emergency number 101."
