PSNI arrest 29-year-old in connection with drugs and money laundering

Police in Londonderry have arrested a 29-year-old man in connection with a major investigation into organised crime.

Detectives from the PSNI's Reactive and Organised Crime Branch arrested the individual on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A and B controlled drugs and money laundering.

He is currently being held in custody.

Five people have already appeared in court in connection with the investigation.

More than 400 officers were involved in 20 raids earlier this month at a number of locations in Londonderry, Strabane, Belfast, Glenavy, Aughnacloy, and Dungannon.

Items seized included Class A and B drugs and a various pieces of luxury jewellery, luxury watches, and luxury cars.
