Detectives from the PSNI's Serious Crime Branch have charged a 36-year-old man with the murder of a Polish national in Co Antrim in October 2017.

The body of 53-year-old Eugeniusz Sinko was discovered by police at a rural cottage on Townhill Road outside Rasharkin on Sunday, October 22 2017.

The 36-year-old is due to appear at Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday morning.

As is normal procedure, the charge will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
