PSNI praise for Vital concert organisers
Only 13 people out of 50,000 festival-goers were arrested at Tennent's Vital this year, the PSNI has said.
The arrests were in relation to minor alcohol-related offences and diorderly behaviour.
Vital ended on Sunday with a headlining set by DJ David Guetta, while The Killers rocked the Boucher Road Playing Fields last Thursday.
The PSNI said 17,500 units of alcohol were seized over the two days, but were delighted with the organisation of the event.
South Belfast Superintendent Mark McEwan said: “I am pleased that the city of Belfast has hosted yet another large event so well.
“This is no coincidence. I believe that it is down to the hard work of the organiser, all agencies involved, and the attitude of the music fans themselves.”
