By John Porter

Rachel Tucker - the Belfast singer and actress who has made a name for herself in London's West End and New York's Broadway - is set for a triumphant return to her home city.

The 33-year-old is appearing in a special one-off concert at The Mac in July to perform songs from her debut album, The Reason.

Concert-goers will be treated to some of Rachel's favourite tracks, along with special guests James Huish and the children from the Belfast School of Performing Arts.

"I can't wait to come home and perform my favourite songs in my hometown," she said.

"I'm also especially excited to be able to share the stage with some extremely talented young people from the Belfast School of Performing Arts."

Rachel shot to fame in the BBC's talent show I'll Do Anything in 2008. Since then she has gone on to become a star of the stage performing across the world in some of the globe's most popular musicals.
