It was a big year for the Belfast Telegraph's video team with millions logging on to watch our content.

This year's most viewed videos featured a myriad of the extraordinary, the absurd and the fascinating.

In at number 10 was internet sensation Ruairi McSorley, or as he became known 'Frostbit Boy', in a video of him taking the ice bucket challenge.

Sunday drivers in a leafy south Belfast suburb were surprised to find an off-road vehicle in the middle of a landscaped roundabout and a man dancing on the bonnet, in our ninth most popular story.

The St Patrick' Day Parade in Belfast came in at number eight on our list.

Carl Frampton was laughably accused of being born with a silver spoon in his mouth by Chris Avalos ahead of his title challenge at the Odyssey.

Carl's quick response - that he was from T Bay - may have earned the laughs, the fight though was no laughing matter for his challenger who was easily defeated by the Jackal.

'Frostbit' was a viral sensation online, and made it into our top 10 twice. This time in the video which propelled him to fame.

A video of rats running amok in a Belfast coffee shop caused a stir.

Claire Williamson's story and the shocking video made it to number four on our most popular videos.

At three, a woman was left "mortified" after a video of her exploits in Comber went viral.

The clip shows two apparently intoxicated women stripping off in the Co Down town's busy square in the middle of the day.

At two, German supermarket chain Edeka's emotional Christmas advert. It told the story of a lonely elderly man's desperate attempts to bring his family together.

And at number one, a small Australian town was covered by spiders raining from the sky, with locals complaining of an invasion.
