Raymond Johnston murder probe police raid Belfast house

By Staff Reporter

Police have carried out a search of a home on the outskirts of west Belfast in connection with the murder of Raymond Johnston.

Officers descended on a house at Brians Well Grove in the early hours of yesterday.

Nothing was found during the search, police said.

Mr Johnston was shot in the chest in front of his partner and an 11-year-old girl.

It happened in a house at Glenbawn Avenue in Poleglass on Tuesday, February 13.

A number of men have been arrested by police, but all have been released unconditionally.

Police said they believe dissident republicans may have been involved.
