Renewed appeal for information on seventh anniversary of Derry man's murder

Gardai have issued a renewed appeal for information into the murder of Londonderry man Andrew Allen on the seventh anniversary of his death.

Mr Allen (24) was shot dead in front of his partner at his home in Links View Park Buncrana, Co Donegal, on February 9, 2012.

A Gardai spokesperson said that those response for Mr Allen's murder travelled to Buncrana from Derry City that evening.

There have been a number of arrests in connection with the case over the years, but nobody has been convicted of Mr Allen's murder.

"If you have any information in relation the killers Gardaí are asking you to do the right thing and come forward to assist in securing justice for Andrew," a Gardai spokesperson said.

"Many people have been arrested and questioned over the past seven years and An Garda Siochana are grateful for all those who have assisted the investigation.
