Resurfacing Ballymiscaw Road in Belfast will last 10 weeks
Resurfacing of a section of the Ballymiscaw Road in Belfast is due to begin on Monday.
The scheme, which is expected to take around 10 weeks to complete, will extend from its junction with the Glen Road to some 150m beyond its junction with the Moss Road. It involves the resurfacing of the carriageway, top soiling the existing stone verge and widening both existing footways.
Regional Development Minister Danny Kennedy said: "This significant investment of around £320,000 will greatly improve the surface quality of this busy route in Belfast."
The dates of the road closures will be dependent on its progress and weather conditions. Details will be advertised on the TrafficWatchNI website (www.TrafficwatchNI.com) when dates are confirmed.
