Robber in pink balaclava threatens shop worker with knife

An armed robber left a shop worker badly shaken when he threatened him with a knife, demanding cash.

Police in Dungannon are appealing for information following the armed robbery at a shop in the Donaghmore Road area on Sunday, June 2.

The robber entered the shop at about 10pm and, after a sum of money was handed over, made off on foot in the direction of Quarry Lane.

There were no reports of any injuries but the staff member was left badly shaken.

The man was described as being around 20 years old, approx 6" tall and was wearing a dark blue jacket, a light blue hooded top, blue jeans and a pink balaclava. Two men are in custody helping police with their enquiries.
