Robbery on Christmas eve

Detectives are appealing for information following a robbery on a north Belfast grocery store on Christmas eve morning.

Shortly before 10am on Friday December 24, two men entered a grocery shop on the Antrim Road near Atlantic Avenue and demanded cigarettes from staff.

A female member of staff was pushed aside during the incident but did not require ambulance treatment.

The men made their escape with cigarettes in the direction of Carlisle Circus.

Initial enquiries suggest they may have used a blue VW Passatt car.
