Rotary runs tree campaign

Rotarians are appealing to local people to dig deep this year and support the ‘Thank you for Life’ campaign, which is once again being run in partnership with Tesco.

The campaign, which will run from December 6-22, aims to raise as much money as possible for a number of local charities — including CLIC Sargent, Help our Heroes, Bothar, Cystic Fibrosis and St John Ambulance.

Following the success of last year’s campaign, the organisation has this year set an ambitious target of £100,000.

The ‘Thank you for Life’ campaign will see 25ft Christmas trees erected at Tesco stores. Customers can purchase their chosen charity’s ribbon to go on the tree. For more information, visit
