Rottweiler attacked man

A judge has ordered that a dog be muzzled and kept on a lead at all times when in public after it attacked and injured a man.

Dog owner Patrick Comerford, from Grace Avenue in east Belfast, was also ordered to make sure his dog was kept securely at all times when on his property. He was fined £200 and ordered to pay court costs of £69.

Court heard how Mr Comerford’s Rottweiler dog had attacked and injured a man at Hyndford Street on June 28, 2010. The prosecution was brought by Belfast City Council.
