Rugby travel services

Rugby fans gearing up for Ireland’s final Six Nations clash with Scotland can leave the car at home and enjoy the lively atmosphere onboard special Translink NI Railways and Ulsterbus services travelling to Dublin.

In addition to normal scheduled Enterprise services on Saturday, March 20, NI Railways special outward journeys include an 11.05am, 11.25am and 11.55am departure from Belfast Central stopping off in Lisburn, Lurgan, Portadown and Newry. Return train journeys from Dublin Connolly Station depart at 7.50pm, 8pm and 8.15pm.

Ulsterbus will also provide a special day return coach service departing from the Europa Bus Centre in Belfast at 11.30am and also picking up passengers from Banbridge Bus Station and Newry Bus Centre. The return Ulsterbus coach service will depart from Mountjoy Square, Dublin, at 8.30pm.

Special day-return fares are also available for passengers using the special coach and train services. The Rugby Special Train Services tickets can also be purchased at selected railway stations including: Belfast Central, Lisburn, Lurgan, Portadown and Newry.
