Schoolgirls victims of indecent exposure in east Belfast
Two young girls were the victims of an indecent exposure incident in east Belfast over the weekend.
Just before 9pm on Saturday, a man exposed himself to the 11-year-old girls in the Summerhill Avenue area of the city.
East Belfast MLA, Robin Newton, described the incident as "disgusting".
He said: "This revolting incident will cause concern with parents across the local community.
"The Summerhill Avenue area is made of family homes, with children living and playing in the area and visiting local shops.
"The man who carried out this sickening act needs to be caught.
"The police need the help of local people to catch the person responsible."
The flasher was described as being around 35-years-old, with short dark hair which was greying at the sides.
He was also said to be wearing navy tracksuit bottoms and a dark grey T-shirt.
