Second blaze at Belfast building in just three days
Firefighters in Belfast extinguished a blaze at a city centre property yesterday for the second time in three days.
A small fire broke out on the second floor of a derelict Victorian property above the Marmaris takeaway on Donegall Street at around 4.40pm, with fire crews bringing it under control by 6pm.
The same building was also in flames on Friday night.
No-one was injured and both incidents are being probed. They have not been linked at this time.
It follows a huge blaze on Sunday at the ISL Waste Management Centre in Mallusk, Co Antrim.
