Second man arrested for attack on homes of Gerry Adams and Bobby Storey

A second man has been arrested over the firework attacks on the homes of Gerry Adams and Bobby Storey.

Detectives in west Belfast have arrested a 46-year-old man on suspicion of a number of offences including criminal damange.

It follows the earlier arrest of a 35-year-old man in connection with the attack.

He was arrested on Tuesday night on suspicion of a number of offences, including criminal damage, linked to incidents at the homes of Mr Adams and fellow Sinn Fein member Bobby Storey.

Officers also carried out searches of properties in west Belfast on Tuesday night.
