Second person charged after woman claims she was domestic slave for six years
Detectives investigating whether a woman was forced to perform labour in Belfast have charged a second person.
Officers from the PSNI's Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Unit (MSHTU) arrested a 25-year-old woman in Scotland on Tuesday .
The suspect, who has been brought back to Northern Ireland, was charged on Thursday with requiring another person to perform forced or compulsory labour.
The woman is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates' Court on Friday.
Osarobo Izekor, 33, originally from Nigeria but with an address in Castlereagh Place in east Belfast, appeared at Belfast Magistrates Court on Wednesday after being charged with the same offence.
He has been remanded in custody.
The alleged victim has told police she was held as a domestic slave in Belfast for six years.
