Shane Todd pens epic Euro 2016 Northern Ireland and Ireland fan experience video

'If you don't boo but actually cheer when your team hasn't won'

Whether you support the green and white army or the boys in green - this video promises to put into words how the fans are feeling about their Euro 2016 experience.

Comedian Shane Todd has penned a poem, albeit slightly tongue-in-cheek, about the Euro 2016 fan experience for supporters of Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Both fans made such an impact in France while the sides were in the tournament they are being honoured with a special award in Paris.

The city’s mayor Anne Hidalgo said she would be giving supporters from both sides of the border an honorary medal.

Shane Todd's video ends "If you can sing yourself hoarse about Grigg whose not even on the pitch,

"And blow a month's wages in a week and still feel rich,

"If you don't boo but actually cheer when your team hasn't won,

"That just means, you're an Ireland fan big son."
