Shocking footage of triple car fire in Dungannon car park

Firefighters have tackled a blaze after a car went on fire in Dungannon.

The dramatic incident - which happened at around 1.25pm on Thursday in the busy Linen Green car park -  has been captured on camera.

A loud blast is also heard towards the end of the video.

It began when a white saloon car went on fire with the front of the car soon engulfed in flames.

The blaze then spread to a grey VW golf parked opposite it and another car.

A spokeswoman for the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service said the cause of the fire was "accidental ignition".

Emergency services attended the scene - two fire engines were sent along with the police and the blaze was brought under control by 2pm.
