Singer Brian Kennedy out and about after cancer treatment

By Staff Reporter

Brian Kennedy looked relaxed as he shopped in Dublin city centre yesterday in the wake of his cancer diagnosis.

The Belfast singer was spotted strolling down Grafton Street in the heart of the Irish capital.

Kennedy, who is suffering from rectal cancer, has vowed to beat the disease. The 49-year-old who has been undergoing radiation treatment, has also spoken of his recent reconciliation with his terminally ill brother Bap.

Brian was stunned to learn his older brother and fellow singer Bap (53) had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Tragically, Bap announced that he is now in hospice care and his diagnosis is terminal. Brian admits he and his brother had been "estranged for more than two decades".

But after hearing Bap was ill he reached out and travelled to Belfast to visit his brother.
