Sinn Fein MLA offers condolences after death of councillor's son in farming accident
Newry and Armagh Sinn Fein MLA Megan Fearon has offered her condolences after the death of party colleague Mickey Larkin's son in a farming accident..
Mr Larkin is Slieve Gullion representative on Newry, Mourne and Down District Council.
His son Toirdealbhach Larkin, in his 20s, passed away on Friday.
It is believed he was killed in an accident while helping to build a shed at a farm near the Kinallen Road area of Katesbridge.
"I am shocked and deeply saddened at the news of the tragic death of Toirdealbhach," Mrs Fearon said.
“The thoughts and prayers of all are with Toirdealbhach's family as they come to terms with the news of his tragic death and I extend my condolences to them on behalf of myself and Sinn Féin.”
