Sinn Fein MLA Oliver McMullan has said he is pleased Friday night's parade in Rasharkin passed off peacefully.
The Parades Commission banned loyalist band Dervock Young Defenders from taking part in the parade organised by Ballymaconnelly Sons of Conquerors.
It was reported that the restriction was imposed due to the band's behaviour during a parade at last month's Twelfth.
Following the passing of the parade on Friday, Oliver McMullan said: "Thankfully tonight’s loyalist band parade through Rasharkin passed off peacefully.
"This parade brings significant disruption to the village and the local community will be glad to see it return to normal.
"Genuine inclusive dialogue is the only way to resolve the outstanding issues around parades."
Well done Ballymaconnolly band for another disciplined parade in Rasharkin, despite sectarian protest. pic.twitter.com/M9xVwHxTYj
