Six musicians to receive new grants for creative collaborations
Six "exceptional" music artists have won Northern Ireland's first ever funding grants for collaborating with fields outside music.
Grants of up to £5,000 will be made available to recognise creativity.
Claire Gevaux, creative programme director said: "We were delighted that Northern Ireland acted as the springboard to launch the first of this new funding programme supporting creative collaborations.
"It's imperative that artists are supported to develop new ideas and explore their creative practice.
"Working with other sectors can bring new insights and meaningful interactions, not just for creative ideas but also ensuring the sustainability of musical careers in the region.
"We look forward to seeing these projects develop over the coming year."
Artists were selected by a panel of music industry professionals.
