Sky News journalist Dermot Murnaghan injured in hit and run
The broadcaster posted a picture of his injuries on Twitter
The Sky News journalist Dermot Murnaghan has revealed he was injured in a hit and run incident.
Mr Murnaghan posted a picture on his Twitter page on Friday March 10, showing large bruises on his face.
He added the message: "Here's why I haven't been on air for 2 days. A hit and run in Kentish Town yesterday. Police were fantastic."

The 59 year old broadcaster has been a presenter for Sky News for the last decade, having previously worked for ITN and the BBC.
Born in England, his family later moved to Northern Ireland living in Armagh City, Newry and then Holywood.
A former pupil of Sullivan Upper in Holywood, Mr Murnaghan cut his teeth in local newspapers including the now closed Carrickfergus Advertiser.
