South Belfast police appeals

A number of incidents are currently being investigated by police in the south Belfast area.

Boucher Road Robbery

At around 4.50pm on Tuesday, March 2, a man threatened a male employee with a pair of scissors at a south Belfast discount shop in Boucher Road Retail Park.

He tied him up and stole a large sum of money from a safe.

The robber is described as five feet nine inches tall, aged in his forties and of a slim build.

He was wearing a woollen hat, a jacket, denim jeans — all dark coloured — and a red, white and blue scarf.

Police said the robber was also carrying a holdall.

Rosetta Park Burglary

A house was burgled some time between 10am and 12.30pm on Tuesday, March 2, in the Rosetta Park area of south Belfast.

A number of items were taken including a Nikon camera along with two high spec lenses and a Nintendo Wii.
