Beef will most certainly be top of the menu when Belfast's award-winning St George's Market is turned into a carnivore's paradise this weekend.
The Great St George's Beef Weekend will see the spotlight fall on all aspects of the city's favourite meat.
The market's butchers and farmers will be serving up cuts of beef – and the emphasis will be on traceability.
The market's two inhouse eateries – the Lazy Goose and St George's Bar and Grill – will be doing a special promotion of beef on their weekend menus.
The Lazy Goose – opened last year by Masterchef finalist Chris Souto – will be serving up a beef-themed menu, while the St George's focus will be on old-fashioned cuts.
