St Pat’s pupils in business

Pupils at Our Lady and Saint Patrick’s College Knock are among those taking on the Enterprise UK Enterprise Education Challenge.

They are starting businesses and competing against over 26,000 other students from all over the UK to become future entrepreneurs and win mentoring support and the opportunity to find out what it takes to run a business at one of the UK’s markets.

Enterprise UK Chief Executive Tom Bewick said: “Young people are twice as likely to want to start up a business if they take part in enterprise education. That is why Global Entrepreneurship Week and our year round enterprise education programmes are so important in developing a generation that is able to make jobs not just take jobs.”
