Staff held at gunpoint in Belfast robbery

Staff have been held up at gunpoint in a Belfast city centre robbery.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information following the report of a robbery at commercial premises on King Street just before 9pm on Monday.

No one was injured and the man made off from the scene with cash in the direction of the city centre.

A PSNI spokesman added: "The suspect is described as being 5"9' tall, dark skinned and of slim build, and wore a dark-coloured coat with the hood up, and sunglasses."

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crimestoppers.
