Staff locked in toilet during Belfast shop robbery
Staff at a Belfast shop were locked in the toilets during a Belfast robbery.
It happened at Rosetta Road on Tuesday at around 10pm.
Detective Sergeant Stewart said: “We received a report that two men entered the premises and staff were locked in the toilets, while the two made off with cigarettes and a sum of money.
“It is believed that one of the men was wearing a navy tracksuit and the other wore a green hooded jacket. Both had their faces covered.
“The staff, while uninjured, were understandably left badly shaken.
“I’m appealing to anyone with information, or who noticed anything suspicious in the area, to contact us on 101, quoting reference number 1426 of 07/05/19.
