A stolen car has been found burnt out in west Belfast.

It's understood the car was discovered on fire at the Beechmount Street area on Sunday, after it was spotted shortly before midnight "driving erratically".

A large group of youths were in the area during the incident, according to police.

It is believed the car was stolen from Inverary Drive in east Belfast shortly before 11.20pm.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them on 101.
