A man arrested in Liverpool has been charged with 12 fraud and theft offences targeting elderly people in Northern Ireland.
The 28-year-old suspect was detained in Merseyside on Friday, police said.
PSNI Detective Sergeant Mark Bell said: "A 28-year-old male has been charged with 12 offences linked to distraction thefts and fraud between the dates of May 2 and June 23 this year in which elderly members of the community have been targeted."
It followed extensive investigations by detectives from the force's crime support team.
The offences involving distraction thefts and frauds that happened across Northern Ireland.
He is due to appear at Laganside Magistrates Court in Belfast, police said.
