Suspected trafficking victims saved

Two suspected victims of human trafficking have been rescued in a police swoop in Greater Belfast.

Detectives believe the two 21-year-old women had been trafficked for the purposes of sexual exploitation.

A 37-year-old man was arrested during the raid by the PSNI's organised crime branch.

Police said the women were now receiving specialist support.

They said no further details about the operation would be released at this time.
