Suspicious object sparks Belfast road closures
Two roads in west Belfast have been closed after the discovery of a suspicious object in the area.
Cordons are in place on the Springfield Road and Lanark Way while the area is examined by police.
Drivers have been advised to avoid the area.
Early pictures from the scene show a large device next to the peace line on Lanark Way.

SDLP representative for the area, Gerard McDonald, condemned the incident.
"This is a disgraceful throw back to a time that we had thought we left behind," he said.

"All that has been achieved with this device is disruption for motorists and local residents who want to go about their daily lives without the threat of violence hanging over them."
