Suspicious object sparks security alert in Co Antrim

An area of Antrim close to a police station has been cordoned off after the discovery of a suspicious object.

Dublin Road was closed at the junctions with Oriel Road, Castle Way and Lough Road on Monday night.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland said the sections of road had been closed after a suspicious object was found in the area.

No further details have been made public.
