Teen suffers broken jaw in Belfast gang attack

An 18-year-old has suffered a broken jaw following an assault in west Belfast.

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault in the Twinbrook area on Saturday July 23.

The man was set upon on Stewartstown Road by around five other men at around 2.30am.

He sustained a number of injuries including a broken jaw that required surgery.

Constable Craig Convey is appealing for witnesses: “Please call 101, quoting reference number 1263 of 23/07/16.”
