Teenage boy sexually assaulted by man in Belfast street

Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage boy was sexually assaulted by a man in a Belfast street.

Two teenage boys were walking along Frederick Street on Sunday November 30 at around 6pm when one of them was sexually assaulted by an unknown man.

The man is described as being approximately 30-40 years of age, of average build and approximately 5ft 8in in height.

He was wearing a football top, black tracksuit bottoms and a beanie hat.

He had a scar on the left side of his face.

Chief Inspector Norman Haslett said: "I would appeal to anyone who may have been in the area at the time of this incident, especially the driver of a silver car who passed by to contact Police on 101.

"Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800555111."
