Teenager and two men assaulted in Londonderry

The trio were injured following altercations in the Ballyarnett Road area.

Police are appealing for information after two men and a teenager were assaulted in Londonderry this morning.

The trio, aged 30, 20 and 17, were injured following altercations involving a number of people in the Ballyarnett Road area at around 4.30am.

All three were taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.

Detective Inspector John Wilson said: “Enquiries are at an early stage and we appeal for anybody who was in the area at the time to contact CID at Strand Road Police Station on the non emergency number 101."
