A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of withholding information around a murder in Co Down.

The 19-year-old man was arrested at Musgrave police station on Friday.

He is being questioned over withholding information and perverting the course of justice in relation to the murder of Pat McCormick, 55, in Comber.

The father of four’s body was recovered from a lake in Ballygowan on July 9 over a month after he disappeared at the end of May.

Two people have appeared in court charged in connection with the murder.

David Gill, 26, of Ballyglighorn Road in Comber, denied a charge of murder, while Lesley-Ann Dodds, 21, from Mountcollyer Avenue in Belfast, denied aiding and abetting and perverting the course of justice when they appeared at Newtownards Magistrates’ Court in July.
