Teenager held after fatal car crash

A teenager is in police custody after a 26-year-old man died in a car crash.

Simon Glenn, from the Strabane area, died in a two-car collision close to the meat factory on the Doogary Road in Omagh just after 4am on Saturday.

The 18-year-old driver of the second car was arrested by police.

The dead man is believed to have been the driver of a silver Vauxhall Vectra, which crashed with a Nissan Navara.

Three other people, two women aged 48 and 23 and a three-year-old girl, were also travelling in the Vectra.

All three were taken to hospital but their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
