Templemore Avenue attack: Man 'critical' after east Belfast assault
A man who was attacked in the Templemore Avenue area of east Belfast in the early hours of Sunday is in a critical condition in hospital.
The 32-year-old was assaulted by an unknown man shortly before 2.30am.
Police have appealed for witnesses.
Detective Inspector Joanne Harris said: "I continue to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this assault, or who has any information about it, to contact detectives at Musgrave Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.
"Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
