Tenants get keys to new housing

A new sheltered housing scheme in south Belfast has opened its doors to tenants.

New residents were given the keys to the brand new Trinity Housing complex situated on Finaghy Road South this week.

Last Thursday, August 19, MLA’s Anna Lo and Alex Maskey, were shown around the scheme by Trinity Housing development director John Cochrane.

A spokesperson from Trinity Housing said: “The representatives were very impressed with the scheme and delighted that such high quality housing is being provided in this area where demand is so high.”

The scheme will provide 12 two bedroom apartments and was completed this month at a cost of just over £822,000.

The apartments have achieved Lifetime Homes standard which means that tenants should be able to live there for the rest of their lives in total comfort should they desire.

Trinity Housing develop, manage and maintain rented accommodation for the following categories: general needs; housing for the elderly and various models of supported housing for people with special needs.
