That's how to do it: Driver posts parking instructions on car taking up three spaces
Parking - and getting it between the lines often sparks the ire of many a motorist.
But after one particularly bad example at Antrim castle, one driver had a canny idea.
He left a diagram of "instructions for use" on the windscreen of a car parked sideways across three spaces at the popular tourist attraction.
Many on Facebook saw the funny side, however, one suggested maybe the driver was just trying to prevent his car from getting the unwanted ding from another car door.
"Well it's a beautiful car," said G James Mc in a post, "Maybe they don't want to risk someone banging their doors against it."
