The last Vulcan flying prepares to swoop low over Mournes
The is the spectacular sight which will be enjoyed in Northern Ireland this weekend when the world's only flying Vulcan bomber takes to the skies.
The amazing mammoth Avro Vulcan XH558 will be one of the star attractions at the 2013 B/E Aerospace Festival of Flight in Newcastle on Saturday.
A spokesman for Down District Council, which is organising the event, said: "The festival will be a five-star attraction. We can confirm that the Red Arrows will return to the fantastic arena of Dundrum Bay and will be joined by the amazing Typhoon. The spectacular air displays are the major event alongside numerous exhibitions, music, street entertainment, vintage vehicles and finishing with an open-air concert on the promenade in this crowd-pleasing event.
"This will be the largest collection of jets in one display that Northern Ireland has seen in a dozen years."
