Thieves have snatched handbags, cash, bank cards and a mobile phone from churchgoers during a service.

It happened at Christ Church on Church Lane in Lisburn.

Police said they believed the burglary occurred sometime between 11.30am and 12.40pm on Sunday, March 24, as parishioners were at a church service. 

Police have asked anyone with information to contact 101, quoting reference 668 24/03/19 or anonymous information can be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
