Thieves steal disability car in Belfast and burn it
Police have appealed for information about the "despicable" theft of a disability vehicle.
The keys to the car were taken after a break-in at a property in the Windsor Avenue area of south Belfast on Monday.
The adapted grey Honda Jazz was seen being driven erratically in the Divis are of west Belfast. It was later found burned out.
Detective Sergeant Keith Wilson said: "This vehicle was a lifeline for its owner, who has a severe disability. He is an older man who relied on this car to get out and about, visit friends and relatives and do his shopping.
"To take his independence away from him in this way is a despicable act."
