Three men have been arrested after a silver Mercedes was stolen from a home in south Belfast.

Police believe the burglary took place at the address in Oakwood Court between 11.30pm on Wednesday night and 10.30am on Thursday morning.

The keys were taken and the car was stolen alongside a 'Longines' watch, a 'Hugo Boss' watch, a black leather wallet and a sum of cash.

The car was later located in the Newry area and three men, aged 17, 19 and 20 were arrested.

They have been arrested on suspicion of offences, including burglary and aggravated vehicle taking causing damage to the vehicle. All three remain in custody.
