Three cars set on fire in suspected arson attack in south Belfast

Police have launched an investigation after a suspected arson attack on three parked cars in south Belfast.

The incident happened in the early hours of the morning outside a house on the Ardmore Park on Saturday, April 28.

Police received a report at around 3.40am the cars, a Skoda Octavia, a Volkswagen Golf and a BMW were set alight and were severely damaged as a result.

Anyone with information about the incident, or who witnessed anu suspicious activity in the area, has been asked to come forward.

Inspector Wendy Pollock has asked anyone with information to contact officers at the Lisburn Road on 101, quoting the reference number 217 with the date 28/04/2018.

Alternatively information can be given to independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
